I'm trying to run the game but after the Bytes Test, I get an 'Error 138' message and the computer locks up. Any ideas about how to fix this?

How are you loading this? Hard reset your Next, then select the TAP form the browser and select N for Next mode. Tried this on both my KS1 and KS2 Nexts and it works fine. Perhaps re-download if you still have problems.

Hi, Having just started using my new Next 2 I mistakenly selected the 48K Spectrum on my first run. After that it always came up with an error no matter what I tried. I thought there might be a file (either in the game files or elsewhere on the Next) that I could edit to resolve the issue but there was nothing obvious and replacing all of the game files didn't help.

I resolved the issue by replacing the whole OS with an earlier (pre Die Ragus!) version.  It works great now. It would however be useful to know where the OS stores the RUN attributes for the games being loaded (after 1st run)? Many thanks.

I think you can hold down Symbol Shift when selecting a game to load and the options will reappear.

Thanks, that's useful to know.

I enjoyed the game will give Golden Seas a go.

Thank you!

Just a heads-up the readme file in the download states the wrong game to select.  It shows launching Golden Seas.  Just a heads-up is all.  I plan on trying the game soon. To run, copy the folder and contents onto your Next's SD Card, then select "Golden Seas.TAP" from the browser.

D'oh! I swear I changed that. I've fixed it and updated now, thanks for spotting it.

love the graphics - hope this is a prequel to a much larger adventure

I would be interested to see if people prefer this 'digitised' style to the hand drawn art of my other adventures.
