Type-In Arcade vol. 1

In the 1980s computer magazines would frequently publish listings of games and software sent in to them by readers, so that other readers could type them in to their own computers and run the software on their own machines.

Many of these were games, written by young coders who were trying to learn just what they could do with the computer themselves and create something that was playable and enjoyable.

Not all of these games were particularly good, many of them written in BASIC which was limited in both capabilities and speed.

However, some of the ideas were good!

As such, we have scoured through countless Type-In games listings from magazines such as Your Spectrum/Your Sinclair, Sinclair Programs, Sinclair User, ZX Computing,  and Popular Computing Weekly to find the very best of these games, and have subsequently given them the PC Remake treatment, and re-imagined some of their full potential.

All games remade with updated graphics and sounds, and a unique unlockables and achievements section that will enable you to tweak the gameplay in different ways, all unlockable by collecting in-game tokens, or "STarks".
